These terms are an agreement between you and Nikolas Casa ("we", "us"), who runs Ello. By signing in, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

What Ello is

Ello helps you log what you eat and see your progress against daily targets. It gives general information only.

Ello is not medical advice. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Nutrition values and scores are estimates and may contain errors. Talk to a doctor or registered dietitian before making big changes to your diet, especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition or a history of eating concerns.

Your account

• You sign in with Google and must be 16 or older.
• Keep your Google account secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Give accurate details so your targets make sense.

Practitioners

If you link to a practitioner, you allow them to view your dashboard and adjust your targets. Practitioners are responsible for their own advice. We do not employ or endorse them.

Fair use

Don't misuse Ello. That includes trying to access other people's data, disrupting the service, scraping it, or adding false or harmful food data.

Food data

Food information comes from public databases, label photos and other users, and may be incomplete or wrong. Foods you add may be shared, without your personal details, so others can find them.

Price

Ello is currently free. We may introduce paid plans in future. We will tell you before any charge applies, and you will never be charged without agreeing first.

Changes and availability

We may change, pause or stop features at any time. We will give reasonable notice of major changes. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Liability

Ello is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of Ello or reliance on its information. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Philippine Consumer Act (RA 7394) that cannot be excluded.

Ending

You can stop using Ello and ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing ello.nutrihealth@gmail.com.

Law

These terms are governed by New Zealand law. If you live in the Philippines, you also keep any protections Philippine law gives you.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will ask you to accept the new version in the app.
